Role: AWS Data Specialist or Lead (Python and AWS Glue, S3 & Lambda exp)

JD:

1. 5+ Years of Data engineering, data preprocessing and data transformation in the AWS environment
2. Designing and developing data pipelines in a modular way, using microservices design pattern (service oriented infrastructure)
3. Fluency in Python (especially Numpy and Pandas) and familiarity in R (to be able to read and understand the code)
4. Extensive hands-on experience with automating data pipelines in AWS, including Lambda functions, Glue, S3, Redshift
5. Automating and bringing data pipelines to production (e.g. first develop a prototype in Domino and then productionize it as a set of Lambda functions and Glue jobs in AWS)
6. Automating and bringing predictive models and statistical routines to production
7. Designing and productionizing data models
8. Familiarity with Data Virtualization (specifically Okera)
9. Thorough understanding and commitment to modern cloud development design patterns (microservices, serverless , etc.)
10. Document requirements, design and implementation
11. Actively participate in Agile planning development process
12. Coach and manage the offshore resources
13. Pharma Domain exp is very good to have.
14. BSc or MSc (preferred) in a STEM field
