Description: Our client is currently seeking a Back End Python Developer

Back End Python Developer
Notes: -Ideally looking for a mid-senior developer (5-8) but they want someone who will need minimal ramp-up time
-Billing integration platform for Netflix (3rd party platform)
oSomeone from banking/financial services would be helpful but not required
-AWS required
- serverless architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB)
-Entire platform is built with Python
-API design / building backend RESTful services
-DevOps Automation / CI/CD nice to have
-Remote is ok but would need to work PST
-There will be a coding challenge needed with submittal

Responsibilities:
Translate high level requirements to actionable tasks/deliverables. Design, build and operate distributed multi-tenant back end software services for our billing platforms. Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and continuously integrated. Collaborate with QA in test planning and test coverage. Collaborate with DevOps in operational visibility, triaging incidents, and deployment planning. Be a technical leader with the ability learn from and mentor others.

Skills:
Solid programming experience in Python and other scripting languages. Experience in Amazon Web Service
- Lambda, S3, Dynamo DB, SQS, and other serverless technologies. Expertise in designing highly-scalable, performant, and mission-critical micro-services.
Deep knowledge of RESTful API design and API integration. Experience in TDD, DevOps, and automation. Ambitious and highly motivated to deliver outstanding solutions with minimal mentorship. Strong problem solving and debugging skills and experience in monitoring, alerting and distributed tracing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred skills: Experience with implementing and managing CI / CD. Experience zero downtime / impact releases, feature flagging, and experimentation.
