We are working with a technology and business analytics platform that is hiring a Backend Engineer to work with Python and Golang. They have a global database of private companies, growth startups, and venture capital across many industries and they aim to provide market intelligence on business and investor activity.

They are seeking a Backend Engineer with experience in either Python or Golang to help build out their platform. Experience building web services and APIs is required and any experience with Microservices is a plus. They are also targeting Backend Engineers with experience in deployment in an AWS environment with Docker. Any familiarity with Javascript frameworks like React.js or Vue.js is a plus as well. They do new development with Python and Golang so an interest in both is essential. This would be a great opportunity to gain experience with Golang and work on an extremely skilled team of Engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years' experience in Web Development with Python or Golang
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or other public cloud platforms
• Excellent communication

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Exposure to Javascript frameworks such as React or Vue
• Experience with highly scalable products
• Ability to be self-directed
