Job Title Data Engineer (AWS/Python Engineer)

Roles/Responsibilities (5 - 8 day to day candidate's responsibilities)

• Building scalable data ingestion, ETL/ELT solutions using Python/Glue/Spark/Athena for disparate large data sets
• Building data pipeline solutions and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Implement or utilize an enterprise scheduler for data pipeline solutions
• Keep up with the AWS updates/announcement and propose ideas/implement - move fast for what we know now and keep a path to evolve as we go
• Partnering with various data platform consumers to build and facilitate a scalable, enterprise data pipeline platform infrastructure in AWS
• Product development mindset and expertise in CI/CD pipeline

Required Qualifications (5 - 8 bullet points on must have skills)

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience working on large scale enterprise data projects using AWS data solutions
• Expertise in building scalable data ingestion, ETL/ELT solutions using Python/Glue/Spark/Athena for disparate large data sets
• Strong programming skills using Python.
• Experience with Cloud databases - AWS Redshift, DynamoDB or similar
• Working Experience in AWS cloud database migration projects
• Expertise in all the basic AWS services - S3, IAM, SNS/SQS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail
