A fintech is hiring senior data engineers to join the team, located in Irvine or San Diego as there are two locations. This data engineer will be working in a mixed Java and Python environment, architecting ETL pipelines, updating complex SQL queries and migrating into an AWS environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Python experience (OOP)
- Strong experience with backend Java Programming
- Strong SQL experience
- writing complex queries
- ETL pipelines
- Experience with Pandas
- Experience with Airflow
- Experience with Redshift
- Experience with PySpark is a nice to have
- 3+ years of AWS experience
- 3+ years of Docker and Kubernetes experience
Tech Breakdown
- 70% Python ETL
- 20% Java
- 10% AWS
- Annual Salary up to $135,000/DOE
