Notes From the Project Manager Location: Herndon, VA - 3074 Centreville Rd, Herndon, VA 20171 Clearance required: TS/SCI Start: ASAP Customer: DOD Entity that does the vast majority of their work in partnership with the IC Duration: 40 months NT Concepts is Prime Team will be about 10-12 people on the NT Concepts side and a few from a partner team as well. Work is fully funded and ready to hire immediately Scope of work is pretty well defined in the overview of the position description below, but this is an R program focused on adversarial machine learning and defensive disruption technology. The data for this program is going to be SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) data. While this is an R program, the POP is 40 months so we have the runway to take this all the way to implementation. ****Looking for someone with C2S experience to stand up the environments for this program. Preferably with experience using NRO's instance b/c that's whose instance we'll end up using, but experience with any customer's instance on the high side will do. Ask about experience standing up an environment on the high side. We're looking for a DevOps engineer whose background is in development, not operations. So someone with a Linux Admin/Engineer background is likely not going to be our person. This position requires a mid to senior level of experience, a passion for developing solutions and solving problems, and a strong desire to solve our customers' hardest technical and data challenges. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the following: Building and maintaining container-based secure infrastructure Building, testing, integrating and deploying code continuously using automation Monitoring and troubleshooting performance, security, and operations issues Managing and maintaining a Linux-based application infrastructure QUALIFICATIONS TS/SCI clearance required BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical experience 5 years' experience in software administration or system administration, with strong knowledge in at least one preferred scripting language such as Bash, Python or GoLang Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes and other containerization platforms (e.g. OpenShift, ECS, PKS, and Docker) Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI Experience with provisioning software using tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
