Description:
- Designs, develops and tests program units; works on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems; participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements.
- Prepares and updates documentation as appropriate.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required due to job requirements.
- Developer role needed specifically on team that works primarily on managed Investment accounting applications.
- Contractor will work with an Agile team of 6-7 whose accountabilities are to build, enhance, and support several critical applications.
Must Haves:
- Git
- JavaScript and/or Python skills (Python preferred)
- SQL background and experience with relational databases
- Micro-services
- RESTful APIs
Nice to have:
- Flask
- Object Relational Mapping (ORM) - SQL Alchemy if possible
- React
- Redux
- Unit Testing experience
- Background in accounting systems and/or managed investments
