People who build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases, and industry analyses to develop best practices.What You Will Do:In this role you will coordinates and/or design, develop, modify and evalute software subsystems and/or systems for under specific time, regulatory and cost constraints.Specific Responsibilities: Develops software solutions by studying information needs; project goals; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following software development lifecycle.Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and charts.Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.Writes, modifies and debugs software for customer applications.Tests and documents software for customer applications.Conducts systems analysis and provides recommended changes.Manages third party vendor relationships.Manages relationships and daily activities of outside contractors including software coders, app developers and other technology consultants.Develops safeguards and solutions for Protected Health Information of users.Incorporates latest changes in healthcare compliance to ensure adhering to HIPAA or other patient protections for healthcare IT applications and tools.Will select system elements and infrastructure based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.Will aid in the development process by ensuring designs are scalable and meet all data security requirementsWill assist in evaluating vendor capability to support development.Will submit periodic reports on assigned topics to supervisor as needed.May be assigned to the engineering efforts of a specific platform, product or product line.What You NeedBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.2+ years of related experienceDemonstrated experience in Python or similar languages.Experience with REST web services OR any similar technologies and concepts.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated software problem solving skills.Demonstrated technical design and problem solving skills.Demonstrated ability to translate requirements to desigExperience with Django, Flask, or similar web frameworksDemonstrated experience in Python or similar languagesFamiliarity with MySQL or other relational databasesComprehensive knowledge of building web applications utilizing any of the following:- MongoDB, ReactJS, NodeJS, JSON, JQuery, REST web services OR any similar technologies and concepts.Familiarity with AWS or Azure or GCPExperience with Nosql databases like Couchbase or DynamoDBExperience in Agile software development methodology.Source code version control repositories and configuration management, such as Subversion (SVN) and GitUse of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) frameworks using Bamboo, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline or similar.#LI-RemoteWork From Home: RemoteTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
