A start up in the Carlsbad/San Diego area is looking to grow their engineering team for a greenfield project that is launching in the fall. They are building a SaaS platform that encompasses all the tech tools teachers use in the classroom. They are looking for a Data Engineer to help set up the data environment - including the Data Warehouse.
Since this is a greenfield project, they are open to the type of technology you work on. Ideally, they would like to see someone with Python or Java, ETL, SQL and some sort of data streaming tools such as Spark, Kafka, Map Reduce, etc.

Daily Responsibilities
- Design new and implement new data processes in Python, SQL Java & AWS
- Competitive Salary: Up to $160K/year, DOE
