• 7+ years recent professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency with Python and Django.
• Preferred experience with E-commerce and JavaScript and/or Typescript.
  

We are a creative marketing/production company seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead our growing in-office development team. This position requires strong and recent experience with Python and Django, with preferred experience in E-commerce and JavaScript and/or Typescript, as well as recent leadership experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing development team and presenting to clients.
• Utilizing large Python codebases to work closely with our client's e-commerce business.
• Use Linux, Docker (or similar) to manage and deploy web services.
• Implementing back-end functionality on e-commerce websites using Django, Flask, and/or Node.
• Support front-end team in architectural designs using JavaScript/Typescript.
  

What You Need for this Position

• 7+ years of recent professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency (5+ years) in Python and Django
• 2+ years recent leadership experience
• Preferred experience with E-commerce and Javascript/Typescript
