Requirements: 8+ years of software development with a good background using Python + Leadership experience is highly desired

We are focused on unlocking the global genetic potential of plants to enhance the sustainability of food, feed, fiber, and fuel production. We and our partners harness natural and novel genetic variation through breeding, trait development, etc. to develop products that accelerate crop improvement.

We have been ranked in the Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing companies for the past several years. We are currently in a major growth phase and hiring a Lead software engineer to help us scale. This position will have split responsibilities between Leadership and hands-on work. We are seeking someone with a heavy Azure background and ideally Python experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Help build our new product from the ground up
• Utilize tools including AI and ML
• Software Development using cloud technologies
• Application / Database technical design
  

What You Need for this Position

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Python
• Leadership experience is highly desired
• JavaScript/Angular is a plus
• Cloud-Native products - Azure is preferred, but any experience with AWS will suffice.
• BS in CS (or related) is preferred but not required
