The Network Management Services (NMS) team, part of the Global Network Services organization(GNS), is responsible for engineering and supporting technical solutions that enable the end-to-enddelivery of the bank's network infrastructure. We manage a global portfolio of in-house and vendor software that support the various stages of IT service delivery: from product certification, documentation and deployment - to access management, monitoring and reporting. Our primary user community is the Network Engineering, Network Deployment, and Network Operations teams, with additional stakeholders across the bank's IT landscape (e.g., Chief Security Office, End User Services). Through cross-silo and global collaboration, we strive for continuous improvement of our network management services as they are vital to a stable, secure, and scalable network as well as integral to the bank's wider IT strategy.

In support of the project, you will support the continued delivery of NMS solutions to ensure the global network infrastructure remains securely and efficiently managed.

Your key responsibilities:

Act as single point for NMS to stakeholder teams including Deployment, Engineering, Operations, and IT Facilities

Produce and maintain reporting of NMS technologies targeted for migration out of the Data Centre, including servers, databases, and applications.

Plan and execute necessary changes on NMS software and platforms, communicating the purpose/scope/impact/risk to change approval boards, and updating support documentation as necessary.

Provide first level support for the NMS toolset as issues arise during project execution, initiating cross-regional troubleshooting sessions, and escalating to management when necessary

Update the documentation of NMS inventories in the Global Networks CMDB ('NetBase') throughout the migration activities

Facilitate the review, approval, and adoption of new IP addressing standards to be utilized in the new data centre.

Your skills and experience:

Demonstrable experience supporting complex global software initiatives, preferably in banking or other highly regulated industries where risk awareness and business impact is integral to problem solving.

In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, SNMP, SSH, Syslog, Radius, TACACS+) and common network vendors (Cisco, Extreme, McAfee, Arista). CCNA or CCNP accreditation highly desirable.

Experience with network programmability and integration: Bash (Essential); Java, Python, SQL (Desirable); API - REST, JSON, XML (Desirable); Ansible or other DevOps tools (Desirable); Cisco ACI (Advantageous); PERL, JavaScript (Advantageous)

Highly proficient with Linux OS / CLI, familiarity with Windows Server OS and working knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, Google).

Excellent written and verbal English language skills; an ability to succinctly summarize complex technical issues for upper management and a desire to share learned knowledge with others.
