We have a need for a strong, highly-analytical Python developer for a role with one of the world's leading animal health companies.

Job Requirements:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, prototype, build, and implement production-grade code to deploy machine learning models into production
• Design, prototype, build, and implement automation and features to enhance use of ML-based tools
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing codebase of ML-based tools

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated experience working with Data Scientists and Data Engineers, experience deploying ML-based tools in a production environment a strong advantage
• Experience working in teams using Agile development methods and tools
• Experience building and deploying code into production
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and business acumen; demonstrated ability to connect business priorities and drive commercial impact with work output
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Strong development capability and experience in Python and PySpark
• Experience in large-scale/distributed computing and analytics (Spark)
• Experience with Azure cloud stack (including Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory); experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) may be considered.
• Experience with relational and noSQL databases
• Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, d3.js) preferred
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning integration preferred
• Experience with mobile languages and frameworks (e.g. React) preferred
