Title: Python Developer

Duration: 6-month contract; extensions & full-time possible

Location: 1-2 weeks per month onsite rotations, remaining time remote; will fully go back onsite at some point- Englewood, CO 80112

Description:

Qualifications:

• 3 years of Python
• NodeJS and/or Java
• Networking knowledge or cable/telecom background
• Linux/Unix

Bonus Skills:

Docker/Kubernetes

Responsibilities:

• Our client is seeking a mid-level Python Developer to work in a nonproduction lab environment responsible for doing a blend of new and maintenance development of a platform that supports data and integration development for networking teams
• The application works from IP to Mac and takes data from an IUP address and tracks it through its cycle, so the company can compile data related to DHCP and other servers
• Candidates need to understand how different parts of the network connect to each other for some network configuration automation projects
• Work with BDD and TDD software development methodologies
• Work with various CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins
• The Developer will work in an Agile development and work with a Scrum team to provide updates on new features and other development initiatives
