We're looking for a Support Engineer to:• take ownership of each client issue through root cause to solution • interact daily with internal 2nd and 3rd level support staff, with Traders / Sales / Client Relationship teams and with external client technical staff • coordinate and escalate to other UBS production support teams and business groups• resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize impact• work within a continuously improving environment while ensuring up-time and availability of the application• able define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvementsYour teamYou'll be working in the eHelp team in Nashville, US. Our team provides the customer with professional front-to-back support service to our Foreign Exchange, Equities, Fixed Income and IBD clients across our entire award-winning e-commerce platforms (UBS Client Portal and Neo).Your expertise• ideally 3+ years of experience in a development or support role• knowledge in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed E-commerce systems is preferred• competent in Python programming or Azure Administration• basic knowledge of networking and messaging technologies• some scripting knowledge is a plus• understanding of ITIL methodologies is advantageous• confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences• able to work as part of a global team interacting with a variety of functions• comfortable communicating with both technically minded colleagues as well as different levels of management *LI-UBSAbout usExpert advice.
