Peritium Search Associates have a fantastic opportunity for Python developers that are looking to work in a high performance technical team where genuine impact into the wider global community can be made.

I am looking for a Python Engineer with an appetite to work at the intersection of mathematics, data and engineering. The role is more than just development. Individuals have the opportunity to create advanced data, engineering and mathematical solutions for a high impact trading community within a wider business division. Individuals will take pride in creating elegant software solutions, will have strong analytical skills and should enjoy working on wider distributed systems, machine learning infrastructure and enjoying mixing this with mathematical bias. This is an enteirly new build out so the project you will be contributing towards is actually greenfield, and has absolutely no prior legacdy code or infrastructure. From a timing perspective this role allows individuals to make a profoundly positive impact to the project from day one.

As a result I'm looking for hands on individuals when it comes to programming, and individuals that thrive on overcoming problems others deem impossible to solve. Engineers that enjoy solving the toughest technical problems will be empowered to follow through any innovative solution you might propose.

Desirable Technical Skills:
· Strong programming experience with Python
· Experience in distributed computing and systems design
· Experience in machine learning infrastructure, specifically NLP
· A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar.
· Exceptional Analytical skills.
· Interest in the wider financial markets.

The opportunity will also allow for real time mentoring from group leaders so this opportunity will allow individuals to fast track their way into more senior roles within the group.
