Role : Python Developer Only W2

• Augmenting existing team
• Wants developers to come in and work with team lead
• Working on a security standard API, needs to implement this to have the right controls around IAM
• This is a group of 8 developers (5 in Columbus, 2 in Jersey City, 1 in India - Team lead is in Jersey City)
• More recent versions of python are ideal (python 3+) - But will consider other versions as long as they're good devs
• Experience/knowledge on SCIM Standards (System for Cross Domain Identity Management) is a HUGE plus…They will be working with this on a daily basis

Job Spec:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design, implementation and delivery
• Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
• Software development experience in Python
• Experience with developing frameworks that help increase developer and release velocity, improving code health and technical standards
• Advanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large-scale software development, security software development
• Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
