At Verimatrix we are looking for a QA Software Development Engineer who cares deeply about building high quality products and is passionate about testing them. In this role you'll be using your previous experience developing test automation frameworks to help our development teams ship fast without breaking things. At Verimatrix our QA Engineers our proactive, creative, capable of leading others, and love to solve problems with code. You'll collaborate with your Scrum team and other Test Engineers throughout the company to develop test automation and infrastructure, as well as establish new best practices, and then find ways to distribute what you've built to other teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Creating automation frameworks for use across multiple teams
  • Writing automation for CI/CD
  • Working closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and other departments to ensure appropriate testing of applications, services, bug fixes, features and release builds
  • Discovering problems and solving them with code
  • Evangelize software testing best practices, influence architecture and design decisions.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • 2+ years of experience in developing with Javascript, Typescript, Python, or Go
  • 2+ years of experience implementing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
  • Strong background of developing test automation frameworks
  • At least 1 year of experience with a continuous integration workflow and using source control professionally
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Solid understanding of typical software engineering practices (Defect Tracking, Test Case Management, Lifecycle models)
  • Bachelor's degree of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related field
Each of the Following Experience would be a Plus:
  • Experience with
  • Experience with, Circle CI, Github Actions, or similar
  • Experience with Authentication, Access Management, SSO
  • Experience with or Serverless Artillery
  • Experience testing ETL pipelines
Travel: up to 10% if required by the organization for business needs - overnight traveling within USA as well internationally
