Job Description

This opening is for a full-time Engineer with strong full-stack experience. With most of their team members being located in Washington, D.C., this company is looking for an individual that feels comfortable in a fully remote role. They are one of America's leading news publications and they have developed a digital platform and suite of tools that can be used by publishers. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can work with Python, Django/Flask, and Javascript with either React.js or modern Angular.

As a member of this company, you will be working for the most-widely circulated newspaper in the D.C. area. They have been around for over 140 years, gaining them a large national audience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years programming experience with Python
• Experience building web applications with Django
• Experience with REST APIs and Web Services
• Javascript with either React.js or modern Angular

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or GCP)
• Experience working with remote teams
