What You Will Be Doing

The Opportunity Will Be To Work On Several Of The Following Projects And More

We are looking for a REMOTE senior Python and Devops Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience who enjoys solving complex problems in elegant ways. The ideal candidate firmly believes in TDD, and has a wide range of experience producing solid solutions to a variety of problems.

A real time alerting framework for sending out notifications to users based on different application events.

Improving an innovative messaging solution that blurs the lines of email and SMS and allows for efficient communication between administrators and caregivers.

Designing and architecting a solution for moving relational data into ElasticSearch for working with big data, enabling rapid reporting, and performing predictive analytics .

Helping to internationalize the application, develop a REST API, enhance our integration with Twilio, etc...

What You Need for this Position

Required Qualifications

5+ years working with Python

5+ Years Working in a AWS environment

5+ years of experience managing Python technology stack such as DJango, Celer,y etc.

3+ years Experience working with Salt/Puppet/Chef/etc.

2+ years being on-call or responsible for a production environment.

At least 2+ years working with Django

Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Experience working with PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, or equivalent data stores

Familiar with Git or Mercurial

A proven record and passion for TDD

Ambition to make things awesome, not just good enough

A hunger to learn and grow in your craft

REST API design and implementation experience, preferably the Django REST

Framework

Prior remote work experience, if applying to work remotely
