If you are a REMOTE Python Architect with experience, please read on!

We are a well-established media and education company focused on international and military affairs.

We are looking to add an experienced software architect to build a visionary SaaS (software-as-a-service) educational platform.

This person will report to the chief product officer and will play a critical role as part of a newly integrated product team.

What You Will Be Doing

Design the software stack from the ground up

Plan a development cycle

Hone functional and non-functional requirements

Oversee a development pipeline and testing process with the director of product

Create internal tools, systems, and services for all developers and engineers (contracted and, later, in-house) to use

Design the product stack

What You Need for this Position

5-7 years of experience designing and implementing software applications

Deep understanding of APIs, systems architecture, and integrating SaaS products to enable rapid prototyping and scaling

Strong with Python HTML/CSS, JavaScript

certifications are a plus

Designing secure software systems based on industry-specific specifications

Analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, creating plans to improve them, and overseeing teams to do so
