We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior/Principle level engineer to work on flagship electrical diagnostic product.

What You Will Be Doing

• Working on an electronic diagnostic product for automotive manufacturers that helps find electrical issues during assembly
• Working with the following technologies....
• Python/Flask
• React/Redux
• MySQL and Redis
• RabbitMQ for async processing
• Terraform, Ansible, and Docker for infrastructure and deployment
• AWS (VPC, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, ALB, etc.)

Examples of work...

• Optimize our Travis CI build pipeline by utilizing new Docker features and investigate the trade offs of switching to BuildKite or another CI
• Implement the end-to-end ability for specific roles of Tracer users to suggest edits or augment internally curated data and content (UI, APIs, database models and integrations)
• Track down a tricky bug that was causing the react application to incorrectly display a result from the previous diagnostic session
• Write a pitch about an idea to improve the robustness and speed of our data deployments

What You Need for this Position

• 5+ years of experience leading and developing a production software product
• Passion designing, implementing and deploying solutions to complex problems
• Experience working across all layers of a software product
• Comfortable working in a small team environment
• Take ownership for all work
