We are a leading provider of control systems for the oil and gas industry! Our systems are top notch (efficient, accurate, cost reducing, critical) quality and used by some of the biggest names in the industry. We are privately held, have been in business since 2010 with steady growth and have about 50 employees.

What You Will Be Doing

• Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle by independently completing projects and tasks by meeting established quality measures
• Expand your role into defining and leading new software projects which will deliver significant impact.
• Leverage our strong relationship with industry partners and search for opportunities to add value between upstream/midstream companies.
• Assume a key role in the Engineering department and executive decision making
• Develop, validate, and implement software solutions based on customer requirements and defined project designs
• Conduct/lead business process analysis to understand the needs of customers and ultimately translating those needs into clear specifications for key stakeholders

What You Need for this Position

• 5+ years working experience
• BSCS or related
• Python, R or similar
• ETL architecture principles and Data Warehousing
• SQL and relational database design
• Embedded / RTOS

Bonus Points For

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry (Upstream and Midstream would be a HUGE +)
• Algorithm Design / Data Structures
• Experience developing dashboards using visualization technologies such as Plotly and Power BI
