Due to growth we are looking for a Remote Senior Director of Engineering w/ 10+ years of experience and a background with Python and React.
You will person will be mostly hands off. You will have the opportunity to get into the code as needed, but primary responsibilities will include gap assessment, process improvements, change management, project management, and organizational development.
You will had 3 Directors reporting you you (1 front end, 1 back end, 1 solutions engineering) + they're teams for 5 engineers.

What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee front and back end teams and their projects
- Monitor performance and reliability on all systems, suggest improvements as needed
- Ensure compliance with security
- Manage SDLC projects by setting timelines and goals
- Design strategy for future projects
- Hire and coordinate training
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Must Have
- 10+ Years Engineering Leadership
- Experience w/ React and Python
- Start Up Experience (comfort w/ lean, fast-paced teams)
