If so, we are looking for a new member on our team to transform how our customers use security metrics to improve their environments.What you will do: Creating new capabilities in the Mandiant Security Validation platformUpdating existing aspects of the data and analytics capabilities in the platformWorking with the team to ensure a consistent experience across the productWriting tests to ensure cross platform performance of UIQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Experience working on back-end development in a K8S and Linux environment, ideally with Python, Go, and/or Ruby on Rails.Expert understanding of RESTful APIs and securityStrong skills with PostgreSQL or another relational databaseAble to quickly adapt to new tools and frameworks as needs changeExperience with distributed messaging frameworks, like KafkaExperience with unit testingand automated functional testsOwn the design and architecture of key roadmap itemsFamiliarity with continuous integration, testing tools, workflows (Jenkins) and source code management tools (git)Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutionsBring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering communityDesired Qualifications:Understanding of common security vulnerabilitiesFamiliarity with cyber securityFamiliarity with either jQuery or React-based user interfacesStrong networkingknowledgeExpertise in Microservice architecture, including REST API designGood knowledge of asynchronous data pipelines using Kafka or AWS SNS / SQS or similar modern messaging frameworkGood knowledge of AWS or other public cloud environmentAdditional InformationAt FireEye we are committed to our #OneTeam approach combining diversity, collaboration, and excellence.
