Position: Senior Python Developer

Location: Richmond, VA

Job type: 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, implement, debug, and maintain applications running in our cloud environment
• Collaborate in an agile scrum team with product owners and all levels of software engineers to deliver most critical business and technical priorities.
• Coordinate and scale the evolving cloud based solutions with product development teams both internal and external to.

• What you would need to work here: Object-Oriented Concepts, Python, Angular, Cloud-Based Technologies (AWS), and any additional languages (Java, node.js are a plus). Should be Open to learning new skills/languages that are required per-project basis.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience
• At least 5 years of experience with OOO, Python, REST.
• At least 3 years of experience with Microservices, Angular Framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with SQL and/or No-SQL databases
• 2+ years of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps experience
• 2+ years of AWS experience
• Any AWS or other Certifications
