Senior Software Engineer with Java/Python and Trading Systems

We're seeking a Senior Engineer to join a technology team which is embedded into a newly created custom-tax managed equities investment team. In this position, you will work closely with the business team to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge capabilities in support of Invesco's new equity focused separately managed accounts business. You'll be expected to have basic investments knowledge to collect and visualize investment processes quickly and accurately. The environment is demanding, and you will be challenged. We expect that you are fluent in data and application integration.

Key Responsibilities / Duties :

• Working on a proprietary highly scalable, quantitative portfolio management and optimization platform for custom tax-managed equities
• Help build an end to end portfolio construction, optimization, trade modeling and rebalancing capabilities for custom tax-managed equities portfolio management system
• Working in a team that's embedded with portfolio managers and traders who are also hands-on developers
• Automating data integration and create a robust data validation framework.
• Integrating in-house built applications with vendor products
• Designing and developing an accounting analytics system

Work Experience / Knowledge :

• Strong experience with the following technologies: Python, Java, SQL, Git.
• Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
• Cloud Infrastructure - Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
• Production experience with continuous integration
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Understanding of application server and database development, including basic data structures and algorithms
• Strong experience with test driven development
• Working knowledge of Snowflake
• R knowledge
• Kubernetes
• Securities industry knowledge
• Trading systems like Moxy, EzeCastle or Portware
• Order management system experience
