The Senior Full Stack Developer will join the Engineering team in launching a new self-serve platform for our customers. We are building this new product ) due to an increased demand from our customers and as an initiative to automate efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale our infrastructure as we start working with several enterprise clients. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is no stranger to building well-designed, high performance and effective front-end web applications that support complex business rules/flows. You will start by learning from the experiences of our current team and our current offerings and become intimately familiar with our codebase. You will leverage your experience to establish best practices for web development and drive the team and the codebase to a higher level.

Application Solution Design You will work with Enterprise Solution Architect, business, product, and UX team members to influence the application data-flow design and extensible product platform architecture.

Product Engineering You will collaborate with various business functions and translate business requirements into simple user stories in partnership with the engineering lead and other developers on the team.

Development

Write frontend code and build UI to implement new features using Javascript framework. Includes taking in data from our API, structuring that data, and displaying it.

Develop back end for front end API on Python.

Consistently improve our platform so we can deliver features quickly with high reliability and scalability.

Write/maintain documentation for the client and other team members.

Apply user experience methodology and best practices to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging user-centered design.

Pioneering new frontend initiatives and championing them to the rest of the frontend team

QA You will be the go-to person on the team for quality assurance and ensure that we are building and releasing high-quality products.

What You Need for this Position

A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering foundation.

7+ years of building and scaling applications in Python (FLASK) and JavaScript (React, Node, Angular).

4+ years of experience leading software development teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design, and performance testing

4+ years of IT Implementation and project management experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.

Configuration management using Circle CI, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Chef, etc.

Strong working knowledge in OOP, design patterns, algorithms and data structures

Experience with database design, data warehousing. Strong knowledge of data layer including NOSQL, caching strategies, and storage alternatives

Experience with service-based application architectures and relevant API protocols.

Strong background working in open source environment with knowledge of AWS and its services.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup. Experience leading POCs and demonstrating speed to market.
