We are working with a 2 year old organization that is growing like crazy. They grew 2000% last year and have tripled that so far this year.

They need an SMS Engineer to construct pipelines to filter out invalid phone numbers, unsubscribed contacts, blocked words and phrases, etc. This person will also be constructing all the monitoring tools around the traffic which might include sampling network traffic for penetration testing and building infrastructure.

Requirements

• Skills: AWS, Cloud, Python, JAVA, Rust, Kafka (or similar tools), Agile
• Need to be familiar with data streams
• 4-5 years of software engineer experience (backend experience
• 1+ year or Linux (ubuntu)
• Telecom experience preferred
• Familiar with AWS and popular AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda)
• Understand Testing standards and QA processes
• Knowledge of Go/Rust
• Familiar with statistics and data representation patterns
• Familiar with machine learning
